Braiding is a relaxing hobby, but it does require a few supplies and tools. You can find the standard tools at most any hobby store. There are many different types of braiding now, and not to many of the stores are carrying all the tools and braiding supplies necessary to complete the new styles. Below are numerous tools and supplies, which should include the ones you will need for the type of braiding you wish to do.
The standard braiding requires only the metal fabric leads, which helps to keep your fabrics separated and also turns the edges inward as the fabric pulls through the lead. This makes for less raveling edges of cotton fabrics.
